Patient Information
If you are interested in becoming a new patient please contact us. Please note, as a small practice, we are frequently very busy helping patients during the day, so we may not have time to discuss everyone’s case over the phone. For this reason, email is the preferred form of communication because it allows us to address everyone adequately.
Getting Here
By Sea
The main ferry service for the island is The Steamship Authority. These boats run back and forth daily, with more frequent trips during Summer months. Boats embark from Woods Hole, MA. More information is available on their website
Another option is the Seastreak Fast Ferry – which departs from New Jersey/New York, and New Bedford, MA. This service is seasonal, so it is not always the best option
By Air
The airline serving the cape and islands is appropriately called Cape Air. They offer flights from various New England airports, including Boston Logan and Rhode Island’s T.F. Green airport. More information is available on their website.

Insurance Information
At Environmental Health Care of Martha’s Vineyard, we are in network with:
Tufts
Medicare
United Healthcare
Masshealth
Network Health
We also accept several out-of-network PPO plans such as Blue Cross / Blue Shield, however we do not currently take any HMO’s as they do not cover our services. Please note that due to the variety in plans the best way to find out your insurance coverage is by calling your insurance company directly. We do our best to get our patients reimbursed. Unfortunately, due to the alternative nature of some these treatments, insurance may not cover certain procedures, and must be paid out-of-pocket by the patient.
